With the instrument-quality Gen5 MotivAider, we've taken that knowledge to the next level by giving you even greater control over important properties of the vibration signal.
Not only does the new MotivAider allow you to control the strength and the length of vibration signals, it gives you the option of dividing each vibration signal into distinct pulses. And, with just the press of a button, you'll be able to immediately feel the effect of any changes you make in strength, length or pulse.
Choose from 3 types of prompting intervals. Enjoy greater control over the frequency with which signals are sent. You can choose to have the MotivAider send vibration signals at Regular (fixed), Average or Random Intervals. And if you choose Random, you'll also be able to specify both the shortest and longest amount of time that can pass between vibration signals.
Use the new SESSION feature to have prompting stop on its own after a chosen period of time.
Use the new USER PROFILES feature to move easily between different behavior change projects, different prompting schedules for certain days of the week or certain situations, or even different users. This feature will allow you to save or load up to four complete profiles of MotivAider settings.
Use the new PAUSE & RESUME feature to pause prompting in the middle of a countdown and resume it whenever you want — even hours or days later.
Use the HIDE option to make things even more private by keeping the screen totally blank while the MotivAider is prompting. (As a bonus, using Hide will also extend battery life.)

The recessed press-and-hold Mode key, which replaces the mechanical SET/RUN switch on earlier models, improves durability and reliability while preventing accidental input.
The improved removable belt clip is wider and sturdier and features two contact points for greater grip and security. And the clip is also designed and positioned to discourage curious children from accessing the battery.
Powered by a single AA battery, the Gen5 MotivAider comes with a top-quality industrial alkaline battery. To extend battery life, the Gen5 is designed to automatically enter sleep mode when it's not in use. For even longer battery life, we recommend replacing the included battery with a 1.5 volt AA lithium battery, such as the readily available Energizer® Ultimate Lithium battery.
